Prima April BAP - making {faces}

Haha 2nd post before heading to bed! Yes the april challenges at Prima's! Wanting to do the PPP but not yet had the time to do it since I had just started working last week >.< still getting used to the new environment and culture of the company.. its been going well at least :D
O well so yes! The BAP for April is soooooo inspirational! Love the mixed media feel to the whole sketch.. the drips and stampings..

April 2013 BAP Lene

and my take..

I first started with applying modelling paste over some chevron stencils as I was going for the fun style for this layout.. then I started misting madly! A mixture of blues, browns, orange and yellow to go with the papers of this beautiful Zephyr paper collection that I was going to use. After all of the misting, I started stamping the lace doilies stamps from the "Rosarian" stamp set with a brown ink. Then the layering starts with using all the scraps leftover from previous usages, and thought the butterfly negative seem to be in place with the pictures too :D

Some close-ups...
A close-up on the title with a little drips beneath them..

Mixed media effects with the stamps and misting with gesso..

Layerings beneath the photo, with a butterfly negative beside it.

Misting and more misting!

Haha hope you guys had liked it and thanks for popping by! Have fun with the sketch and PPP!
