October BAP: Shades of holiday

Hello folks! Its been ages since I updated my blog... had been a workaholic at my new job but I still make cards on and off for birthdays!! So.. I finally get to participate this month's BAP at Prima, an awesome sketch as usual!!

My take:

I had been trying to brush up my multi media techniques on my layouts.. and I thought I was pretty happy with the outcome of mixing the chalk inks from Prima and Tim Holtz after applying the gesso and some texture paste on the stencils here and there..

MOJO 300! - Happy Birthday

Good evening!

Its been a while since I got the time to sit down for some crafting time! 

Nevertheless, I wanted to make a card for my father's birthday thats coming up next thurs, and I found out that Mojo Monday is celebrating their 300th sketch with lots of wonderful prizes to be won!

Just so beautiful as usual! I finally got my hands on MME's recent collection Kate&Co. the week when my local craft store brought them in.. the Oxford Lane series made my masculine card easy to get everything together :)

MOJO MONDAY 297 - Heart Cards for a cause @ papermarket

Good evening!!

Its a brand new week with a brand new sketch over at Mojo Monday! Been searching through my favourite card sketches websites for inspirations to get more cards done for the Heart cards for a cause event over at Papermarket. I made another sweet birthday card with the use of Hello Friend collection from Glitz design!

Mojo Monday 296

Am here today to share a short post of the card I made for the sketch of Mojo Monday 296!! Time passes so fast, isnt it? The first week of June is already ending in 30mins lol! which also means its contest week over at Mojo Monday :D

MAY BAP

Hi crafting friends! Haha just a short post as usual as I just got home from work.. last day of the month! How time flies and of course that also means payday and the last day of submission for the BAP over at Prima! Have you all seen the sketch this month? Its always so lovely and I just did up this layout 2 weeks ago... and delayed it till now to post haha!

DeconstructingJen #100 sketch! - Happy Birthday card

Just a quick post before I go to bed.. haha it is going to be Friday soon! Can't wait for the week to end lol. O well, I was surfing through the net the other day and searching for some card sketches for me to play along and I landed up in DeconstructingJen!

After participating in the bloghop for the celebration of 100 sketches, I got inspired by the awesome cards made by the other fellow bloggers in the bloghop and I created this yesterday :D!

Handmade Calendar !

Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday! Haha had been quite quiet around here as I finally found a full-time job to gain some working experience before furthering my studies next year! 8.30-6pm on weekdays is taking all my time to allow me to sit down and craft.. but I was totally in a crafting mood last Sunday! Been thinking about how to make my workdesk more lively and fun.. and thought of the need to get a new calendar.. so I just made one last week! 

The good thing about it being handmade is that you can choose whatever papers/embellishments to decorate your calendar, and since its already May, I decided that I should create my calendar from May2013-Apr2014, but I could still add pages if I want to :D haha! 

I also attached the days on each month using staple bullets, which means I could always reuse the background and change just the dates for next year, the following year and so forth!
